Digitalis by Ronie Kendig

Digitalis (Discarded Heroes #2)Digitalis by Ronie Kendig
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! When you pick up this book to read (because everyone should!) you'd better settle in because you won't be able to put it down! Ronie Kendig has a way of grabbing her readers from the prologue and holding them prisoner until the last word is spoken!

I am surprised I let this one sit as long as I did, but then again, I am a student now and don't have much time for pleasure reading. Nothing like a beautiful Saturday and the flu to give you time to read!

I'm a bit of a sucker for a man in a cowboy hat and Colton (aka Cowboy) is the star of this sequel (check out Nightshade for the first book in the series). Colton, in the midst of having some horrible flashback from his days in Fallujah, is being called up to help disarm an Israeli nuclear crisis. He just thought he was out of the military!

Nightshade's men are supposed to be ones that can keep their heads in the game. After all, that's one of the reasons they were chosen. Enter Piper Blum...beautiful, smart, and has a magnet attracting Colton so fast his world is spinning. Can he keep it all together in midst of the drama?

I would say more about this book but it would give too much away! Ronie Kendig is one of my top 3 favorite writers and she has the number one suspense spot! Don't miss out on this great read full of suspense, adventure, and of course, love.
