A place where I blog the goings on in my own little corner of the world. I like to talk about the books I read, the classes I teach, the homeschooling I plan on doing, weight loss strategies, among other things.

Blog Hop Friday!
It's Friday and you know what that means! It's a Blog Hop Friday! Sponsored by Jennifer at Crazy For Books, Blog Hop is a quick and simple way to visit other bloggers out there in the blogsphere! It's great fun and I hope you'll hop on in!
This week, Jennifer wants us to talk about: RIGHT THIS INSTANT, WHAT BOOK ARE YOU DYING TO GET YOUR HANDS ON (PAST, PRESENT, OR FUTURE)?
For me, it would be Digitalis by Ronie Kendrig and Code Triage by Candace Calvert! Neither of these books will reach my hands soon enough!
What about you? What book(s) is/are you dying to get your hands on??? Please share in the comments!
While you're here, be sure to sign up for my 2 giveaways! They are located in the box on the right hand side of my blog! The first one ends tomorrow night (Saturday, July 17) at 11:59 PM EST! There are only a handful of entries for both so go ahead, it might be your lucky day! :)
Be sure to stop by and sign the Linky at Jenn's site so you can get more traffic too!
ABOUT THE HOP:
In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and find new book-related blogs that we may be missing out on! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs that they may not know existed! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!
The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.
If you start following someone through the Hop, leave a comment on their blog to let them know! Stop back during the week to see other blogs that are added! And, most importantly, the idea is to HAVE FUN!!
DISCLAIMER:
The Hop isn't just for you to throw your link in there and not visit any other blogs. It's all about networking and finding new blogs that are of interest. So, in the spirit of the Hop, try to make some time to visit other blogs and don't post your link if you are not planning on visiting other blogs in the Hop that week. This is a weekly event, so if you don't have time this week, that's fine! We'll see you next week!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! If you haven't read anything by Philippa Gregory you should! Especially if you like historical fiction!! The first book I read from her was The Boleyn Inheritance and I was hooked! Have a good weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Glenn Beck's The Overton Window--sounds intriguing--love futuristic stuff. Also, I just got TL Higley's PETRA, and I'm anxiously itching to get into reading...but need to finish other books first. ARGH.
ReplyDeleteWho am I kidding? Besides my TBR pile which has books like Edge of Apocalypse, Surrender the Heart (MaryLu Tyndall), Stars in the Night (Cara Putman), The Cool Woman (John Aubrey Anderson), The Pawn (Steve James--I know, I'm late starting this series), and Offworld (Robin Parrish), I want to get my hands on these books:
DIGITALIS by Ronie Kendig (didn't expect me to leave that out, did you?)
PRICELESS by Tom Davis
TOMORROW WE DIE by Shawn Grady
IMMANUEL'S VEINS by Ted Dekker
THE TWELFTH IMAM by Joel Rosenberg
AMERICAN HEROES: SPECIAL OPERATIONS by Oliver North
WHEN THE DEVIL WHISPERS by Rick Acker
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. I think yours is pretty great. :)
