The Murmuring Mirror (Amberwood Hall Ballet School Book 5) by Eleanor Dixon

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have really enjoyed this series! The author has a wonderful way of weaving together a beautiful story full of mystery, intrigue, a scattering of romance, and a little bit of paranormal activity.

Lauren and her friends are competing for the one and only scholarship available for summer school in New York. There is a mirror that is very intriguing and seems to be trying to send a message. Lauren finds herself dancing as if her life depended on it...and maybe it does.

This is a young adult novel that will capture the attention of any dancer who enjoys a great mystery!

Triple Trouble at Amberwood (The Amberwood Hall Ballet School Series) by Eleanor Dixon

I dove into book 4 of this series having not read any of the previous books. This book is geared more towards 8-12 year olds but most, if not all, age groups would enjoy this book. It took me a minute to get into the story and I think it's because I did not have a back story going into it since I skipped the first three books. However, I found this to be an enjoyable read.

There are ghosts lurking around Amberwood Hall. Some are friendlier than others and it's up to Lauren and her friends to figure out what's causing things to go awry at different times. When the big production at the end of the year is cancelled, there is suspicion as to who might be behind the reason.
