I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of books and this one is no different. While each book can be read as a standalone, why miss anything good? Go read them all!

This is lighthearted humor with a mystery. Enemies to lovers and ghosts are also in this book. I love all the references to vintage fashion, as this is something that I'm finding myself becoming more interested in. You'll follow Justine's path of discovery and deal with Jackson's anger issues. Can these two put differences aside and forge a path ahead together?

Great story and series! Cozy up and enjoy!

Marcy is called in to help out her friend Justine as a costume designer for an upcoming production of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" when Justine is called away to other duties. Marcy shows up and the director comes across as very brash and condescending after Marcy was told that he was a big teddy bear and very sweet. First impressions matter! As Marcy is attending rehearsals to gather the needed information to fit everyone for costumes, she suddenly finds herself reading lines for the female star of the show. The actress casted for this part has never shown up for any rehearsals and no one knows where she is or if she's ok. Marcy fits in great with the cast and soon finds herself not only as the costume designer but also as a lead actress.

There are some very strange occurrences in the costume loft. Weird flashes of lights, sounds of chains rattling, and bats just to name a few things. Marcy is able to see auras and along with her friend, Tess, they are able to see into the supernatural world. Marcy and Tess "meet" Ellen, the original female lead from 50 years ago who mysteriously died during the production of the show. Can Marcy and Tess figure out this mystery and put Ellen to rest?

This book is very enjoyable, as was the first book in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone but why would you want to miss out on all the fun of vintage dresses and historical sightings? I'm hoping there will be more stories in this series to come!

This was a super fun read on a lazy afternoon! I couldn't put it down!

The first thing that I love about this book is all the recommendations that the author gives out for someone visiting New Orleans. I've never been there before and not sure I'll ever go but if I do, I have a good start on places to visit. I also love hearing about the research that she put into this book! I feel as if I was there, on the streets along with Juliette and Jean.

There is humor (a lot of it actually), paranormal activity, swashbuckling action, mystery and more in this story. I found myself laughing at a lot of Jean's actions and I figure if it'd been me, I'd have wanted to hang out with him after getting to know him a little bit better.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to others that may follow!

I dove into book 4 of this series having not read any of the previous books. This book is geared more towards 8-12 year olds but most, if not all, age groups would enjoy this book. It took me a minute to get into the story and I think it's because I did not have a back story going into it since I skipped the first three books. However, I found this to be an enjoyable read.

There are ghosts lurking around Amberwood Hall. Some are friendlier than others and it's up to Lauren and her friends to figure out what's causing things to go awry at different times. When the big production at the end of the year is cancelled, there is suspicion as to who might be behind the reason.

Genie and her great-great aunt Adriana, who happens to be a ghost, are travelling to Italy. While there, they find themselves in the middle of a mystery that they would love to solve. There is an auction house that is holding onto some of Adriana's belongings and they are about to auction them off to the highest bidder. Genie plans to purchase as many items as possible, as those items help Adriana to maintain her connection to the present world. When a fire takes place and the location is deemed a total loss, not everything is adding up. It's up to Genie and Adriana to solve this mystery.

This was a fun read! I love Adriana, she's a hoot with all her antics! She talks to animals too, and they make great witnesses! While this is the second book in a series, this could be read as a standalone.

When the opening line of the book reads "Dead bodies interrupted my dessert course" the book can't be anything but good!

Elinor Chalamet is a "ghost talker" and she's been trying to solve her father's death for many years. When a local incident arises where a ghost talker might be helpful, she's summoned and finds herself at the Duke's residence...held prisoner. The Duke keeps getting in her way and preventing her from doing her due diligence with these ghosts. The Duke is also relying on Elinor's knowledge of precious gems to help him find a missing piece of the royal gems. Will the Duke move out of the way and allow Elinor to do what she does best?

This was a short little novella that I understand is part of a 6 book series. I look forward to reading more of Elinor's adventures and seeing where the love interest goes.
