What's your love story? Is it worthy of writing a paper about it?

In Karen Kingsbury's newest release, the reader is reconnected to the Baxter Family. Or, maybe like in my case, the reader is meeting them for the first time. The Baxter's are a fairly decent sized family with many facets. John and Elizabeth Baxter are the cornerstone of their family. When their grandson, Cole, asks John to share his love story with his former (now deceased) wife, Elizabeth, John finds himself reliving the life he shared with Elizabeth. Their love story is unique, yet shares patterns that many find in their lives today.

Cody Coleman, long time family friend of the Baxters, is in utter romantic chaos. He's sick without the love of his life, Andi Ellison. However, how do you repair a relationship after two failed engagements? Can Cody come to grips with his feelings and explain to Andi why he's acted the way he has? Will Andi be accepting and welcome Cody back into her life for a third time?

There are a lot of tender moments shared in this love story of the Baxter family. I read this book in about 4 hours straight and found that I could not put it down until it was completed. I look forward to reading more about the Baxter family (there are multiple books in different series about them) in the near future.

I'm not one to usually one to watch a movie before I read a book, but in this case, I did. After seeing the movie on Hallmark and absolutely loving the movie, I wanted to read the book. I also have not read many Karen Kingsbury books. I was pleasantly surprised as to how close the movie was to the book!!

I just love this story!! I've already watched the movie twice too! Two bookstore owners take their personal pain and turn it into something so beautiful!! Being able to put their pain aside to help others in their times of needs is so very unselfish. Charlie and Donna stole my heart from the very beginning!! The fact that they named the bookstore "The Bridge" is also such an inspiration! Leaving your troubles at the door to overcome a world of impossibles seems to be their underlying theme. I was heartbroken by Molly's story, as I felt she had the most to lose in the whole process. Her ending was the most beautiful though, in my opinion.

I would encourage those who love a good romance to read on a rainy day to check this book out!

Have a box of tissues handy when you pick up this book to read! I was bawling within the first couple of pages!

I've never lost anyone close to me because of a drunk driver. I hope I never will either. Tom is taking his two girls on their annual end of the summer camping trip. They have no idea that their lives will change for ever!

I enjoyed this book, but as mentioned earlier, this one is a tear jerker. There a several emotions that will hit you at once and sometimes you don't see it coming. This was my first Karen Kingsbury adult read (I've read a couple of her children's books) and I'm not sure if she always jam packs her novels like this one. Waiting for Morning deals with drunk drivers, death, love, forgiveness, and suicide. That's quite a bit to handle!

I had issues with some of the religious tones in this book (not Biblically accurate) so I'm writing it as though this was a work of strictly fiction. For non-Christians, this book could be construed as "preachy" at times. The characters struggle with their faith in God after the accident and fight to gain it back with the insistence of their new found friends.
