This was a great little "family reunion" to pick up and read! I have absolutely loved this series and I'm sad to see it ending but I'm also feeling okay with it because it all ends up so nicely. There are some great sounding recipes in this book, along with a lot of love, laughter, and seeing how the relationships of the couple of Buckeye Falls have grown in the ebbs and flows of life. A great, short read that will put you in the holiday spirit!

I absolutely love this series!! I love all the characters and Buckeye Falls sounds like the kind of place that I could find a forever home in.

I love the story of Mallory and Beckett's childhood. It's one that girls dream of. You "marry" your best friend and just love life. Such an innocent type of love. Does that kind of love really exist though into adulthood? Can it grow into something more? Beckett is coming back to the farm for his friend Evan's wedding. Beckett remembers how he felt about Mallory, but does she? So many unanswered questions as these two are then thrust into best man and maid of honor duties.

I wish I could visit Buckeye Falls and get some of those apples they keep talking about!

Faking the Fall: A Buckeye Falls Novel by Libby Kay

I'm sad to see this series come to an end! I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series and I would highly recommend them for someone looking for a bit of a romcom!

Alice finally got her story! Her family isn't quite sure what to think of her. Alice is a bit of a reed in the wind. She has multiple degrees but isn't really putting forth an effort to use them effectively, at least in her daddy's eyes. All her other siblings are successful members of the community and are public servants of some sort. Alice is working in the library. She's happy but ready to get from under her parents' thumb.

James has recently relocated to Buckeye Falls after a failed marriage and a lull in his work. He needs some motivation to create art again. Then he spies Alice and the paint is flying to the canvas.

A super fun read about the Snyder family. This could be read as a stand alone but you'll miss out on the backgrounds of other characters. I would recommend reading them all because they are that good!

The residents of Buckeye Falls are some of my favorite people! I'd love to live there and mix and mingle with Max, Gina, Cee Cee, Evan, Anthony, and Natalie! Of them all, Max is still my favorite.

The newest story of Buckeye Falls features the mayor, Anthony, and his wife, Natalie. The Snyders' have been a fixture in the town for many years as Anthony succeeded his dad in the mayorship. Natalie is getting her new business with Gina off the ground, an event planning business. Things are going well for the Snyder family from the outside in, but if one were to step on the inside and look out, things aren't so perfect.

When an opportunity arises for them to go to the lake house owned by Anthony's parents, both Anthony and Natalie have to be convinced that they can take a few days off of work to go pack up the house to sell, while the kids hang out with the grandparents. They decide to go and things don't go there as planned either.

I absolutely love these characters and this story. This all seems like a real place and I often find myself in this town hanging out with these people as I read. I become a resident of Buckeye Falls for the few hours that it takes me to read this story.

All of the books in this series can be read as a stand alone. There are characters that move across each book though so having some background context would make them more enjoyable. This series is one of my favorites and I look forward to learning even more about this town I've falled in love with!

This first read of 2023 was not disappointing!! Ginny needs to go home to take care of her dad with his upcoming hip replacement surgery. Going back home to Buckeye Falls comes with it challenges though! Max is still there and so are the feelings of love...love for Christmas, his diner, and his ex-wife Ginny. When Ginny finds out that Max is spending time with her dad, more issues come to light. How can Ginny survive this trying time with Max around? It's also Christmas and the holidays are special in Buckeye Falls.

This is a sweet, second-chance romance novel that will have you cheering from the beginning all the way to the end!!
