Fair warning....this book will mess with your psyche!! This book is hard for me to review without spoilers but I can assure you, you won't want to put this book down until the end because you just have to know what happened to Ellie Mack. You'll be scratching your head after you find out what happened to her and you'll have questions for days and need to talk to someone about all of your theories!

I read this book upon the recommendation of my boss. She came in one day and told me I needed to read this book so she would have someone to talk to about it. I would recommend you have someone who will read it with you or immediately before or after you so you can do the same.

I do feel that there were several characters in this book that were unnecessary. It might have been the author's attempt at throwing the reader off the path of "who dun it" though. I liked SJ's character but was she really necessary? I guess for comparison purposes she played a part. My heart went out to both her and Hannah in this book. I'd like to see a spin-off about them in the future and how they've reacted to the events surrounding Ellie's disappearance.

If you've ever questioned your personal maternal or paternal instincts before, this book might put some of those fears to rest for you, but then again.....

I can't say anymore other than read this book with a friend and be prepared to talk about it!
